The GPA for individuals and the GPA for classes weighted by class size should be almost the same. The average for everyone used to be like 2.7 - 2.8 in the 90s from what I remember. Hmm I remember it being still close to that even less than 5 years ago. But again I could be wrong..

GT's 4 year grad rate sucks (~50%). It's primarily due to people going on co-op or in-staters taking fewer courses a semester to maintain scholarships, but rankings don't care about those details.
